Allison Barchichat

Director & Math Coach

Allison started East Cobb Tutoring Center in 2012, tutoring only high school math. Over time, the company has grown organically and now serves students in all grades, K-12 and college students. With her background as a high school math teacher, and as the mother of three teen boys, Allison understands the unique (and stressful) circumstances that the students of 2024 face. In addition to GA Certification in math, grades 6-12, Allison holds AP Certification & Gifted Endorsement, and is a Teacher Support Specialist. Allison has experience working with students of all abilities and agrees with this sentiment from author Rick Riordan, “Fairness does not mean everyone gets the same. Fairness means everyone gets what they need.” In her spare time, Allison enjoys skating with Peach State Roller Derby.

Allison offers private math coaching – individual tutoring enhanced with parent consultations, school communication as requested and flexible scheduling options. Allison will help your child fill a toolbox of tips and tricks to improve math skills and reduce academic stress. Your child can work with Allison for all middle and high school math classes, including all levels of AP and IB. Additionally, Allison offers individual coaching for the SAT, ACT, SSAT and GRE to help your child hit their goals for the future!
