Elizabeth

High School & College Math

Elizabeth has been teaching upper level math since 2012. She has taught Algebra I, Algebra 2, Geometry, College Algebra, Linear Algebra, Finite Math, and Math Reasoning. In addition to having a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics, Elizabeth has also obtained a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics. She tutors all math subjects from middle school through college level. Outside of math, Elizabeth enjoys painting, playing the piano, learning, and laughing. From personal experience, she understands the power math has to damage confidence and provoke tears and despondency. Elizabeth also understands the sheer joy that comes with conquering a daunting math problem and the pivotal role instructors play in comprehension, skill-building, and inspiration. Playing that role in other people’s lives is what gives her a sense of purpose.
