Social Studies & ELA

Josh is a middle school teacher in Cobb County. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA) with a degree in social studies education. He is now working on his Master’s degree at UGA while continuing to teach social studies in CCSD. In his free time, Josh enjoys hiking, reading, and playing board games.

Josh can help your child with social studies, English Language Arts (ELA), and history classes, including AP courses. He believes that “student success is achieved with effort inside and outside of the classroom.” Josh wants to help your student build confidence in reading, writing, analysis, and critical thinking. Josh’s goal is to make learning fun and effective. He tailors his teaching to meet the needs of each student, helping them to do their best. Josh is excited to work with students and their families to achieve academic success.
