DeLaney

K-8, Algebra & Geometry

DeLaney is a graduate of Michigan State University with a passion for math. She taught Algebra and Geometry in Gwinnett County, where she earned teacher of the month, and loves helping students understand math and build confidence.

At East Cobb Tutoring Center, DeLaney tutors math & ELA for grades K-8 as well as Algebra and Geometry. She especially enjoys finding ways to make math easier to understand and helping students feel more confident in their skills. In her spare time, DeLaney creates music and plays the clarinet. She gives this advice to her students, “Always try your best. Applied knowledge is power. Love yourself and be kind to others.”

DeLaney is excited to return to ECTC after previously working with us several years ago. She is happy to be back and looks forward to helping a new group of students succeed in math and reading.
