Mariam is a graduate of The Westminster Schools in Atlanta and currently attends Spelman College, where she is majoring in International Studies with a minor in Economics on the Pre-Law track. She is a Dewitt’s Dean Scholar and has earned numerous academic honors, including recognition as a National Merit Commended Student, membership in Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, the National African American Recognition Program, and National Honor Society throughout high school.
At East Cobb Tutoring Center, Mariam tutors reading, writing, and language arts for all grade levels, including AP Literature and AP Language. She also tutors all levels of economics and helps students prepare for the SAT and ACT. Mariam believes in meeting students where they are and creating lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning journey, helping them build confidence and reach their goals.
Outside of tutoring, Mariam loves reading, watching movies, and traveling. A lifelong Georgian, she enjoys exploring new places and never misses the chance to find a local café for matcha. Fun fact: she’s left-handed!
